Shark Guardian 

Kon-Tiki is honored to be a Shark Guardian Dive Centre. Together we hope to continually aid and promote conservation of Sharks and the entire underwater world. Shark Guardian is a non-profit charity organization helping with shark and marine conservation worldwide through education programs, research projects and exciting diving expeditions.

At the Kon-Tiki dive shop we stock a range of Shark Guardian merchandise, such as hoodies, t-shirts and caps. All Shark Guardian merchandise sales are used to raise funds that go 100% towards Shark Guardian conservation projects worldwide.

If you are interested to learn more about sharks and get immediately involved and active in shark research for conservation, soon you can participate and complete the Shark Guardian Diver program with us.

Trash Hero Krabi

Kon-Tiki is proud to be part of the Trash Hero network. The Trash Hero mission is to bring communities together to clean and reduce waste. They do this through action, awareness, education, sustainable projects, and inspiration.

If you would like to help, there are weekly cleanups organized around Krabi by Trash Hero. Dates and locations can be found on their Facebook page and webpage. Another great way to help is to stop using single use plastics. At the Kon-Tiki shop you can refill your Trash Hero Love Thailand bottle with drinking water for free. If you don’t have a Trash Hero bottle yet, you can buy one from us (proceeds to Trash Hero of course) and refill it for free at all businesses in Thailand participating in this program.

Project AWARE®

Kon-Tiki is also proud to be a Project AWARE® partner. Project AWARE® is a global movement for ocean protection powered by a community of adventurers. We connect the passion for ocean adventure with the purpose of marine conservation.

At Kon-Tiki we have taken another step with Dive Against Debris®. We are taking part of Adopt a Dive Site™, and have adopted a dive site on Phi Phi Island, Koh Bida Nok. We have committed to carry out monthly Dive Against Debris surveys, reporting types and quantities of marine debris found underwater each month from the same location.

If you want to help fight debris and protect the environment, soon you can take the Dive Against Debris® Specialty and the Project AWARE specialty course with us.

SSS Recompression Chamber Network

Kon-Tiki is glad to be a member of SSS Chamber Network in Phuket. They deliver high quality medical care with professionalism, courtesy and concern for all involved. They also make available quality information and training needed for prevention, and when needed, proper handling of dive related injuries and medical evacuations.\

Kont-Tiki is also proud to be a Aqualung Partner Center. As an Aqualung Partner Center we offer our guests well maintained and up to date Aqualung dive gear. All gear and tanks are serviced by our Aqualung qualified technicians. This together with our friendly and qualified staff will make your experience truly memorable.
